Permaculture Design Courses 96h in English with translation in Italian language

We invite students to bring their sense of humour, skills and genius to share!

This PDC is internationally accredited with the Permaculture Research Institute (PRI), Australia, and, the Permaculture Association, Britain.

The PDC programme is based on the accredited PDC. Students can attend the full 13-day PDC or a 5-day Permaculture Introductory Course (PIC). The course includes a memory stick with an information pack, field trips, refreshments and vegetarian meals. Accommodation is provided in a dormitory.

This course will be activated with a minimum of 12 participants with a deposit of € 288 in advance by filling in the form by March 2nd and sending the bank transfer receipt to info@progettogaiaterra.com

Ezio Gori is an internationally accredited Permaculture teacher with the Permaculture Research Institute and British Permaculture Association, as well as, a certified trainer with Gaia Education.

Ezio has some 30 years’ experience gained in Southern Africa over a wide range of development projects, from infrastructure delivery, housing, school building, local economic development, organic farming and Permaculture design.

Ezio is passionate about teaching Permaculture design, with a focus on Design, and embedding sustainability within development projects.

Marco Pianalto permacultura

Marco Pianalto - Guest facilitator

Graduated in Agricultural Sciences in Padua, he completed post-graduate training at the Faculty of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo (Advanced School in Sustainability and Food Policies). After decades of experience as a hydrotechnician in Spain, he carried out initial and advanced Permaculture training at the Permaculture Montsant Institute (Tarragona, Spain) with Richard Wade and Inés Sanchez.

He obtained his Diploma from the Italian Academy of Permaculture and is a member of the didactic board of the Academy (Tutor Ellipse). He graduated in Organic Regenerative Agriculture in Mexico. He is currently a member of the technical, didactic and organizational staff of DEAFAL, an organization engaged in the diffusion of Regenerative Organic Agriculture and in the defense of family agriculture in Italy and abroad.

He taught in Europe (Spain in England, France Germany), Latin America (Mexico) and Africa (Togo. Ghana). He follows projects in Chile and Argentina.

Marco Matera - Guest facilitator

Permaculture teacher, facilitator and expert in community building. After completing his PDC, he worked as an assistant teacher with Aranya in United Kingdom.

He is certified as a permaculture teacher at the Akadamie Permakultury in the Czech Republic with George Sobol. Co-founder of the online magazine Permacultura & Transizione. Passionate with Sociocracy and Nonviolent Communication.

Carmelo Chiaramonte PDC Gaia terra

Carmelo Chiaramonte - Co-ordinator tutor

Architect, trainer. Permaculture, Pioneer in the application of ecological financial wellness to Permaculture. After his qualification as an architect, he studied wellness with Alfio Bardolla on real estate investments and took a Master’s in communication with Claudio Bellotti with NLP Italy.

After completing his PDC (Permaculture Design Certificate), he started his active learning path at the Italian Academy of Permaculture dealing with regenerative agriculture and bio-architecture. He owns an organic farm in the province of Ragusa with BioCert certification that makes sustainable hospitality.
